Milestone's innovative products, sold principally under the Chief, Da-Lite, Projecta, Sanus and Vaddio brand names, are sold through numerous channels, including Pro AV dealers, regional home theater dealers, consumer electronics retailers, mass merchants, and original equipment manufacturers.
Milestone AV Technologies worked with Emergent Software to consolidate four brands into a single site. The site was built using Sitecore Content CMS and integrated with SAP through a tool called WECO Software, to display localized product information, pricing, and enable e-commerce functionality.

A key requirement for Milestone’s Sitecore implementation was localization. Emergent Software built their system with a variety of regions and languages, each with varying product mixes. This feature required design and front-end development considerations to ensure the site worked properly as text lengths changed.
Extending Sitecore with custom mount compatibility searching.
Emergent Software integrated a compatibility search for matching Milestone’s TV and projector mounts to consumer products. This search uses Milestone’s custom compatibility database to quickly return matching results to the website. The site also enables users to log in to their accounts using SAP to place and track orders and to see their custom pricing. This combined several different tools customers were previously using to streamline the process of working with Milestone.
