**This is an opportunity to join the Emergent Software sales team to work closely with existing and new clients and help them achieve their desired business outcomes through custom software, cloud transformation, and data engineering projects. This position is remote first with some travel to client sites (primarily in the Twin Cities, Minnesota).**

Emergent Software is seeking a Customer Success Manager (CSM) to nurture and grow our services with existing clients as well as follow up with new leads generated through marketing efforts. Qualified candidates will demonstrate the ability to understand and sell Microsoft-focused cloud technology solutions and custom development projects, as well as build trusted relationships with C-Level decision makers. With no commission limits, this job has uncapped income potential.

Customer Success Manager Primary Duties

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with clients
  • Identify cross sell and upsell opportunities to clients by positioning additional service offerings
  • Meet with clients both virtually and in person. Periodic attendance at networking events in the Twin Cities is expected.
  • Build trusted relationships with C-Level decision makers and business partners to efficiently identify, qualify, maximize, and ultimately close deals.
  • Achieve growth targets through consultative selling, detailed account planning and execution, promoting account growth, and maximizing client retention.
  • Work closely with other staff members to provide a positive client experience.
  • Develop positive relationships with clients and provide strategic advice on how to achieve their business goals through Emergent Software’s solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and our internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs.
  • Collaborate with our consulting team to create SOW’s tailored to the work planned for your clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Prepare reports on account status and keep a well-maintained CRM database.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in a customer success manager or account manager role selling technology professional services
  • Understanding of key cloud technology and custom software development concepts
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Solid experience with CRM software and other sales and business development tools.
  • Passion to introduce and drive disruptive solutions to help customers evolve and transform into digital-first organizations.
  • Passion for client experience and for consulting as a vehicle to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Ability to address conflict. Able to prepare for and execute on difficult conversations.
  • Attention to detail, and insistence on excellence and “getting it right the first time.”
  • Thrives in a fast paced and always changing environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience selling Microsoft products and services
  • Experience selling custom software development or cloud infrastructure projects
  • Experience managing client relationships in a professional services setting
  • Experience with HubSpot
