Dental & Vision
Emergent Software contributes 50% of your monthly dental and vision premium costs including for dependents. Employees can choose to opt out of dental, vision or both.
Emergent Software provides a 401(k) plan with an 100% employer match up to 4% of the employee's contribution.
Flex Spending Account (FSA) for Dependent Care & Healthcare Costs
Emergent Software staff can contribute to our Flex Spending Account (FSA) as a way to spend pre-tax dollars on healthcare and dependent care related expenses. Our FSA includes a $500 carryover allowance for any money left in the account at the end of the year.
Short Term & Long Term Disability
Emergent Software provides an employer paid policy for short & long term disability. The short term disability benefit is 60% of weekly earnings up to $600 for 12 weeks and the long term disability benefit is 60% of monthly earnings to $6,000 per month after a 90-day elimination period.
Emergent Software provides an employer paid policy for group term life and AD&D insurance equal to employee annual salary up to a maximum of $50,000.
PTO (Personal Time Off)
Personal time off is pro-rated based on employee start date and length of employment.
Emergent Software offers eight paid Holidays per year: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.
Staff Development Program
Emergent Software staff members can spend up to 100 hours of their regular work time per year to focus on their own professional development through activities like attending trainings & conferences, educating the broader software community, and working on their own projects using new technologies.
